Helen Whittal

Helen has been a part of the Road safety team in Auckland for 15 years. She worked for the North Shore City Council and then for Auckland Transport after the Super City was formed.

Helen has a very diplomatic approach which brings others on board and she shows her caring nature in all that she does. She takes the time to consider all aspects of the safe systems approach, and incorporates CAS data, hospitalisation data, engineering advice, and advice from Police into her projects.

She is a leader in the team, she takes the time to teach staff and she has built strong relationships within the community.
